Before & After School Programs
Balancing work and family life can be challenging, and we understand the need for reliable, enriching care outside of school hours. Our before- and after-school programs in Hewlett, NY, and Rosedale offer parents peace of mind with extended hours designed to fit busy schedules.
Morning and Afternoon Care: Our programs run from 6:30 – 8:00 am and 2:30 – 6:00 pm, providing a safe, engaging environment for your child before and after school.
Comprehensive Activities: In the afternoons, children benefit from homework help, enrichment activities, test prep, arts & crafts, recreational time, and a healthy snack.

Extracurricular Programs
At OKP, we believe in nurturing every child's unique interests and talents. Our diverse extracurricular programs in Hewlett, NY, and Rosedale provide opportunities for children to explore their passions and develop new skills.
Ballet Program: Led by our very own Miss Lorraine, this introductory ballet class focuses on fundamental movements essential for higher-level courses. Open to students ages three and up, classes are held once a week during the school year and twice a week in the summer. Costume fees apply.
Piano Instruction: Conducted by the iSchool of Music, students receive one-on-one music lessons once a week. This program runs in three ten-week sessions throughout the academic year, culminating in a performance at Lincoln Center. Open to students ages three and up. Additional fees apply.
Karate Classes: Hosted by Warren Levi Martial Arts, this eight to ten-week program provides half-hour karate lessons with certified instructors. Open to students ages three and up, karate uniforms are required. Additional fees apply.
Soccer Training: Hosted by Soccer Shots, this eight-week program offers half-hour soccer lessons with certified instructors. Open to kids ages two and up, students should wear a soccer t-shirt. Enrollment must be completed online at www.soccershots.org. Additional fees apply.

Summer Program
Summer is a time for fun and growth, and our Summer Program at Our Kids Place in Hewlett and Rosedale, NY, is designed to provide both. Catering to campers aged 12 months to 10 years old, our program offers a blend of educational enrichment and exciting activities over seven weeks.
Educational Enrichment: Campers participate in daily math and reading activities to keep their minds sharp over the summer break.
Fun-Filled Activities: Each day is packed with arts & crafts, sports like swimming, tennis, soccer, ballet, and bowling, and innovative themed activities that keep campers engaged.
Caring Counselors: Our certified and caring counselors ensure that every child is safe, happy, and thriving.
