Introduction to Ballet is a forty-five-minute class geared towards the basic fundamental movements in ballet, which students would need to excel in higher-level ballet classes. Conducted by our own Miss Lorraine, she adapts the techniques of her training to fit the needs of her students while still incorporating the important concepts students need to grasp. Classes are held once a week during the academic school year and twice a week during the summer session.

This program is open to all students, ages three and up. Students should be properly prepared with black leggings, an OKP Dance shirt and ballet slippers.

Costume fee is applied.

Conducted by the iSchool of Music, this school brings music instruction to Our Kids Place. Once a week, the instructor comes in and provides one-on-one instruction to students. This program is held for three sessions (ten weeks per session, fall, winter, and spring) during the academic school year. At the end of the three sessions, the students perform at Lincoln Center in New York City.

This program is open to all students, ages three and up.

Hosted by Warren Levi Martial Arts, students get a half hour of instructional karate for eight to ten consecutive weeks. Warren Levi provides certified instructors to ensure proper technique is meeting taught.

This program is open to all students, ages three and up. Students should be dressed in karate uniform.

Hosted by Soccer Shots, students get a half hour of instructional soccer for eight consecutive weeks. Soccer Shots provides certified instructors to ensure students are developing physically as well as socially. Enrollment must be completed online, www.soccershots.org/longisland.

This program is open to all students, ages two and up. Students should be dressed in a soccer t-shirt.
